At the Food Company, we are bolstering initiatives in the production and processing areas through the Group companies. As well as harnessing the advantages of a trading company in procuring ingredients, we also tap our networks for marketing.
In Japan, major businesses including Fuji Oil Co., Ltd., Prima Meat Packers, Ltd., and WELLNEO SUGAR Co., Ltd. are carrying out food production and processing.
In overseas development, in addition to our existing strategy of manufacturing products intended for Japan, we have been investing in or developing joint projects with companies that manufacture products intended for the local market.
Going forward, we will work together with local partners on expanding Japanese technologies, know-how, and brands overseas.
