Metals & Mineral Resources Division

The Division mainly handles iron ore, non-ferrous metals like aluminium and steel products, and on a worldwide scale deploys resource development projects, imports, trilateral trade, as well as sales and distribution in Japan. The Division also engages with steel scrap business as part of recycling-related businesses.

Iron Ore & Steelmaking Resources Department

Working on iron ore project development, iron ore trading, imports and sales with the focus on Australia and Brazil, the Department contributes greatly to securing earnings for the Group.

Non-Ferrous & Metal Materials Department

The Department develops the non-ferrous metals business, transactions in finished goods, and the scrap business with a focus on aluminum.

Coal, Nuclear & Solar Division

Coal Department

Working on coal project development, trilateral trade, imports and sales of coal all over the world. On a par with iron ore, the Department contributes greatly to securing earnings for the Group.

Nuclear Fuel & Solar Business Department

We trade and develop non-carbon based energy. First, we are involved in trading uranium for use as fuel to generate electricity and development uranium mining projects. We are also engaged in solar and solar thermal power generation projects and trade in related components. Finally, we are engaged in the biomass business, a part of renewable energy.
