ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that its United States subsidiary ITOCHU International Inc. will contribute 50,000 U.S. dollars toward relief for victims of hurricane Sandy, which caused wide damage in the Northeast.

ITOCHU expresses its deepest sympathy to the victims in the disaster-stricken areas and earnestly hopes for their earliest possible recovery.
