The awards are given for excellent environmental reports, environmental activity reports, and TV commercials about the environment. This award program is aimed at encouraging business operators and other organizations to take initiatives on environmental management and environmental communication, and at improving the quality of the environmental information disclosed by them.

We received the following comments at the award presentation ceremony, which was held at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa on Wednesday, February 22nd. We will take these comments on board as a valued opinion and reflect them in our future activities.

It can be evaluated that the CSO is in charge of CSR, from the long term strategy point of view. 4 CSR material issues are selected through internal questionnaire and their risks and opportunities are stated clearly by each business fields.
Setting KPI will be the next challenge. Climate Change is the priority among the material issues and is proactive in renewable energy, but will be better if the plan regarding coal-fired power generation is stated.
