ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Keita Ishii, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) was selected for the List of Superior Companies in the Gomez ESG Site Rankings 2023 for the fourth consecutive year and ranked No. 1 overall across all sectors for the third consecutive year.

This ranking is undertaken to evaluate the depth of information provided on listed companies’ websites; ITOCHU was evaluated highly based on our sustainability website, including our ESG Report, and was ranked No.1 on the List of Superior Companies among 378 companies.

The survey process consists of five categories: 1) website’s ease of use, 2) overall ESG information, 3) environmental (E) information, 4) social (S) information, and 5) governance (G) information. Evaluation criteria are set not only from the perspective of main users like shareholders and investors, but also from a wide range of stakeholders.

ITOCHU is committed to ESG initiatives and will continue to engage in proactive information disclosure.
