Launch of sales of audiobooks by Globe-trotter

On July 4 (Wednesday), ITOCHU Corporation launched sales of Globe-trotter audiobooks, which were developed jointly with Globe-trotter T & E Inc. (headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Takeshi Nakamura, President; http://www.arukikata.co.jp) at iTunes® Store (prices range from 300 - 500 yen, tax included).
Globe-trotter audiobooks are digital audio guidebooks published by Globe-trotter, the No. 1 name in Japanese-language international travel guides. The series offers audio guides on all areas and spots around the world.
Audiobooks use sonic effects to reproduce the sounds of bustling airports and streets that cannot be truly captured on paper, and feature music matching the place and topic. Even without leaving Japan, users can vividly relive memorable trips or travel to unvisited destinations at any time and place.
