ITOCHU Corporation and BottleCube Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Tatsuya Kawaguchi ; Hereinafter “BottleCube”), a group company of IMJ Mobile Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takehito Hirota; Hereinafter, “IMJ Mobile”), launched the MOTTAINAI Relax software application for relaxing with music, photos and natural sounds as an iPhone application on October 23, 2008.
MOTTAINAI Relax
Through his involvement in a range of activities, the musician Tatsumi Moritoki, a researcher at the MOTTAINAI Lab, has collected images and recordings of natural sounds and composed music to go with each image to create the MOTTAINAI Sound, which has been published on the official MOTTAINAI website.

Now, BottleCube has developed MOTTAINAI Relax software for relaxing while enjoying natural sounds, photos and music on the iPhone or iPod Touch.
Special Features of MOTTAINAI Relax
The MOTTAINAI Relax software for enjoying natural sounds, photos and music contains four types of natural sounds (waves at Kannonzaki, water mills at Agatsuma Gorge, snow in Tokyo, sounds of suburban London) and three kinds of music composed by Tatsumi Moritoki. You can choose the sound that you want to hear or listen to two sounds at the same time. The music and photos created by the different combinations will render healing performances.
It is also possible to adjust the volume for the natural sounds and the music to enjoy a customized performance every time you listen.
When you download this application, the MOTTAINAI Campaign will donate an amount equal to the cost of one tree sapling to the Green Belt Movement.
