ITOCHU Upgraded to A in Moody’s rating for the First Time in 20 Years

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that it has received A3 (previously Baa1) rating from Moody’s Japan K.K. on the long-term rating scale. It is the first time since May 15, 1998 that ITOCHU has received A rating from Moody’s, and as such is the first upgrade to A rating in 20 years.
