ITOCHU Announces Completion of Multi-Tenant Logistics Center i Missions Park Ichikawa Shiohama With Contract Rate of 100%

September 11, 2019

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Yoshihisa Suzuki, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that i Missions Park Ichikawa Shiohama (location: Ichikawa-shi, Chiba prefecture), a multi-tenant logistics center developed by ITOCHU, has been completed on August 30.
The facility opened with full occupancy through leasing contracts with multiple tenants before the construction completion.

i Missions Park Ichikawa Shiohama is located in the Chiba Bay area within a 20-km radius of central Tokyo. The facility is sited adjacent to the Chidoricho Interchange of the Metropolitan Expressway Bay Shore Route (some 2.1 km), which is not only highly convenient for delivery to the Tokyo area but is also optimal for wide-area distribution as well. Moreover, the facility is easily accessible for commuters, at a walking distance of around 9 minutes from Ichikawa Shiohama station on the JR Keiyo Line. Coupled with the abundant population in the surrounding areas, the logistics center has an advantageous environment for securing employment.

The building is four stories high and has a floor area of approximately 59,100 square meter with some 14,750 square meter on each floor. Highly efficient entry-dispatch operation has been achieved through the installation of a slope that allows large vehicles to drive directly onto the third floor and 44 truck berths on first and third floor enables further optimization of the operation. I Missions Park Ichikawa Shiohama is an eco-friendly and energy-saving facility, utilizing LED lightings throughout the building. Solar power generating system is scheduled to be installed on the roof of the logisticis center as well.
