We have recently become aware that a person or persons unknown have been soliciting investments

and purchase of unlisted stock using the word ''ITOCHU''.
The following cases have been reported.

- A firm or firms unknown have been soliciting purchase of a stock of a company purporting to get listed,

presenting materials including our company name as a business partner or shareholder
- A person or persons unknown have been soliciting investment in Australia by phone or fake emails

using the word ''ITOCHU''
- A person or persons unknown have been soliciting stock exchange of a corporate bond etc.

using a false name as the employee of our company
ITOCHU Corporation has no knowledge of the identity of this person or persons or the source of the emails

and is in no way connected with the solicitation or emails.
