On September 27 and 28, the “3rd ITOCHU Children's Dreams Cup – Fall Tournament,” a boys’ baseball tournament that ITOCHU supports via the ITOCHU Children’s Dreams Fund, was held on the school ground of Otomo Elementary School in Rikuzen-Takata City. Children who are doing their best to cope in the aftermath of the earthquake participated in this tournament. The event was highly successful, with the boys playing full out while their guardians cheered for them enthusiastically. At the end of the first day, a team of 13 members consisting of members of ITOCHU Corporation’s baseball club and ITOCHU Group employees, who participated in the event as volunteers, had a friendly game with the children and deepened exchanges with them.
