The Energy & Chemicals Company consists of two divisions: the Energy & Power Solutions Division, and the Chemicals Division.
The Energy & Power Solutions Division handles trading of general energy-related products, including crude oil, petroleum products, LPG, LNG, natural gas, renewable fuels, and hydrogen. It also engages in related projects and exploration, development, and production operations for oil and gas projects. This division also drives next-generation power businesses, such as electricity trading, solar power generation, wind power generation, biomass power generation, fuel trading, and storage cells.
The Chemicals Division handles trading and business development for a wide range of products including organic chemicals, inorganic chemicals, plastics, packaging materials, lifestyle-related sundries, fine chemicals, semiconductor and electronic materials, pharmaceuticals and functional foods, battery-related materials and components. It also engages in future-oriented environmental businesses, such as utilizing eco-friendly materials and recycling.
By leveraging synergies across these two globally operating divisions, we create optimal value chains in the oil, gas, power, and chemical sectors, contributing to enriching the lives of people both in Japan and around the world.
