ITOCHU strengthens its unique financial services in accordance with the needs of clients, such as the launch of salary pre-payment and factoring businesses via MONEY COMMUNICATIONS INC. and investment in new areas of business such as BNPL (buy now pay later) and microfinance.
Going forward, we will continue to develop next-generation financial services that are advanced and user-friendly through, for example, investment in and partnerships with domestic and international FinTech startups and other startups.

In 2019, we established MONEY COMMUNICATIONS INC., a fully owned subsidiary.
MONEY COMMUNICATIONS provides the prepay pocket salary pre-payment service to over 300,000 employees of companies that are struggling during the labor shortage.
At the end of 2022, the subsidiary started offering the Pre Care factoring service to help companies introducing prepay pocket to expand their operations in a multitiered manner.
Utilizing the ITOCHU Group’s network, MONEY COMMUNICATIONS will support the expansion of the companies it provides services to. At the same time, the subsidiary seeks to develop new financial services leveraging the customer base it has established.
