ITOCHU Wins AAA grade in Nikko Investor Relations “All Japanese Listed Companies’ Website Ranking 2018” and Gold Prize in “Gomez IR Website Ranking 2018”

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Yoshihisa Suzuki, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced that it has won AAA grade (2nd place in the overall ranking) in All Japanese Listed Companies’ Website Ranking 2018 selected by Nikko Investor Relations Co. Ltd.for two consecutive fiscal years, and further that it has won Gold Prize in Gomez IR Website Ranking 2018 selected by Morningstar Japan K.K. for the first time.
In addition to Grand Prize (First Prize in Overall Ranking) in 2018 Internet IR Award from Daiwa IR announced in the press release dated November 20 (*1), ITOCHU has now received best evaluations from three major website rating institutions.
ITOCHU will continue to improve its website and strive to actively provide information to all stakeholders with the recognition that the delivery of information via internet is an important part of the IR activities.

All Japanese Listed Companies’ Website Ranking 2018 is a survey targeting websites of 3,785 listed companies in Japan.
It evaluates the extent to which each website incorporates elements that enable stakeholders (including shareholders, investors, consumers, business partners and job seekers) to obtain information and to understand company’s situation, based on 163 objective evaluation criteria set from three perspectives: Understandability, Usability/Accessibility and Volume of Information.

Overview of Gomez IR Website Ranking 2018 selected by Morningstar Japan K.K.

Gomez IR Website Ranking 2018 is a survey targeting websites of 3,626 listed companies in Japan.
To evaluate usability/accessibility and information richness of listed companies’ websites which are prepared to perform public relations activities for shareholders and investors via internet, it investigates websites based on 237 evaluation criterias consists of four categories: Website Usability/Accessibility, Richness of Financial Information, Richness of Company and Management Information, and Activeness and Progressiveness of Information Disclosure.
