ITOCHU Awarded Dark Blue Ribbon Honorable Mention

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that it has been awarded Dark Blue Ribbon Honorable Mention by the prime minister for donating land to Numazu City. ITOCHU donated a site of 2.32 million square meters that it owned in Nishiura, Numazu, Shizuoka to the Numazu City Government (Mayor: Hiroyasu Kurihara) in December 2012, believing that the donated land would contribute to the development of the city.
ITOCHU will continue to contribute to society through a range of activities.
