Schedule for Recruitment of New Graduates （in Japan） for 2012 Following the 2011 Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake

We wish to extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the Tohoku – Pacific Ocean Earthquake and sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the afflicted areas.

In view of the damage inflicted by the earthquake and the ensuing situation, we have decided to postpone our selection of new graduate recruits for 2012 to after June 1st. This schedule will apply to all students nationwide, not only to those affected by the disaster.

The period for accepting registration forms is scheduled to begin in early May, and details of the revised schedule will be posted on our recruitment website (http://career.itochu.co.jp/student/[Open in a new window]) as soon as it has been decided. Students who have pre-registered should check their “My Page” or their e-mail for further communication in this regard.

For those students who will experience difficulty in taking the examination according to the revised schedule, we plan to exercise a degree of flexibility and will post updates in this regard as well.
