ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that ITOCHU and Dole Food Company, Inc. (headquartered in Westlake Village, California, USA; hereinafter “Dole”) agreed to a closing date of April 1, 2013 (North America, Western Standard Time) with respect to the Acquisition Agreement dated as of September 17, 2012.
