ITOCHU Announces Winning of Grand Prize in Internet IR Award from Daiwa IR for Second Consecutive Year in 2017

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that it has won the Grand Prize in the 2017 Internet IR Award, selected by Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd. (“Daiwa IR”), the investor relations (IR) consulting company of the Daiwa Securities Group, for the second consecutive year.
Based on the concept of “5T&C,”* in which companies’ investor relations activities on the internet, the Internet IR Award is given to those companies that construct excellent websites for investor relations and effectively use the internet for information disclosure and communication activities. The award was granted following an examination and evaluation of the websites of 3,735 listed companies this year, with 101 companies selected as award recipients and seven receiving the Grand Prize.
