ITOCHU has promoted this support measure for balancing cancer care and work since August 2017.
It includes the implementation of regular examinations in collaboration with the National Cancer Center, development of a system to facilitate a balance between cancer care and work, enhanced support for highly advanced medical treatment costs and an increase in scholarships for children, in addition to the operation of a health management system, subsidies for high-cost medical care, and improvement of support systems such as a flexible work/leave system for employees suffering from long-term illness.
The award was granted in appreciation for these new advanced initiatives from the standpoints of prevention, treatment and symbiosis.

Human resources are the most important management resources to ITOCHU.
