ITOCHU Announces Receipt of First Prize in Overall Ranking for Second Consecutive Year in 2019 Internet IR Award from Daiwa IR, with Highest Ratings From Two Other Major IR Website Evaluation Organizations

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Yoshihisa Suzuki, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced that it received highest ratings for its website from all three major IR website evaluation organizations that monitor those operated by listed companies.

The Internet IR Award reflects the results of the survey and evaluation of 3,838 listed Japanese companies, according to the concept of “5T&C”: Timeliness, Transparency, Traceability, Trustworthiness, Totality and Communication.

■ Outline of the All Japanese Listed Companies’ Website Ranking 2019 by Nikko Investor Relations Co., Ltd.
The ranking is compiled after surveying the websites of 3,807 listed Japanese companies with respect the degree of incorporation of factors that enable stakeholders to gather information and understand situations, based on 163 objective evaluation items established from the three perspectives of understandability, usability and amount of information. Overall rankings and points earned are not disclosed from this fiscal year.

■ Outline of the Gomez IR Site Ranking 2019 by Morningstar Japan K.K.
The ranking reflects the results of a survey of the websites of 3,644 listed Japanese companies according to 242 items in four categories: usability, enhancements in financial and business performance information, enhancements in company and management information, willingness and innovativeness in information disclosures.
