ITOCHU Announces the Commencement of Discussions on a Capital and Business Alliance with Seven Bank, Ltd.

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Keita Ishii, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) has agreed to commence discussions with Seven Bank, Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Masaaki Matsuhashi, President; hereinafter “Seven Bank”) regarding a potential capital and business alliance, including collaboration across a wide range of financial fields.
Seven Bank primarily provides financial services through its ATM network, which is installed in a wide range of locations including convenience stores both in Japan and overseas, commercial facilities, tourist destinations, airports, and train stations. The number of ATMs installed domestically exceeds 28,000 units.
Leveraging its domestic and international business foundation with strengths in the consumer sector, ITOCHU develops new services and businesses by capturing the diversifying needs of the market and consumers through a market-oriented perspective.
Pursuant to this agreement, the two companies will proceed with discussions on a potential capital and business alliance, including collaboration in various financial domains.
