ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Keita Ishii, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that ITOCHU has received the "13th IR Good Visual Award" organized by the IR Good Visual Award Executive Committee (hosted by Value Create Inc. and Japan Investor Relations Association). This is our first award in nine years since 2017.

This award evaluates a single slide from the IR presentation materials of listed companies in Japan and recognizes slides that effectively communicate corporate value, even with just one page. For this 13th award, sixty-nine companies applied, and seven companies were selected as winners, including ours.

The awarded slide is included in the "Investors Guide," which we published in September 2025 as a tool for dialogue with investors. It visually represents, on a single slide, how we sustain high ROE we are committed to —an important indicator for global investors.

■Comments from the Judges:
・The slide illustrates, in an integrated manner and powerfully, that raising ROA in all segments and controlling leverage at headquarters lead to higher ROE.
・By listing each segment’s ROA and its historical changes, it successfully shows a profit structure not dependent on resource prices.
・The slide expresses the core idea of portfolio management from an investor’s perspective, integrating ROA, with leverage and ultimately converging on ROE.
・It effectively tells the management story, with a well-judged balance of numbers, not too little or too much. This slide is minimal but includes all necessary information appropriately.
・The title poses a clear question, the answer is delivered in a single line directly below, and the details are explained through graphics. This is a very well-structured slide.
