Communication with Shareholders and Investors under COVID-19

Even under the extenuating environment of COVID-19, ITOCHU continues to engage in investor relations activities focusing on communication with shareholders and investors, with the aim of continuously enhancing corporate value.
Although we have changed the format of some activities to prevent the spread of infection, we strive to maintain and improve timely and appropriate information disclosure in the uncertain social and economic environment.
We engage in investor relations activities more actively than ever, in order to deepen the dialogue with our stakeholders.

Overseas IR roadshows have resumed in light of the COVID-19 situation. We also use an online meeting system or a telephone conference system to realize flexible communication with overseas shareholders and investors regardless of place and time. |
Other IR activities (financial results announcements, timely disclosures, preparation of an annual report, updating of website, etc.) are conducted as usual.
As for our company employees, we place the highest priority on ensuring worker safety and preventing the spread of infection, and continue operations while avoiding risks. We implement such measures as promoting staggered working hours by utilizing the morning focused working system, improving work systems including teleworking, expanding PCR testing, and erecting shields in office areas.
