ITOCHU provide scholarships in Qatar
November 15, 2012
Our contribution will provide scholarships to the students in the Education City, the flagship project at HBKU Education Program, and is aimed to assist Qatar’s efforts to invest in human capital for the implementation of the development of intellectual industry and to facilitate exchange and cooperation between Japan and Qatar. Our contribution is also in line with the objectives of ITOCHU’s CSR program, which are to support development of next generation, to contribute to local community and to promote traditional culture.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Qatar. ITOCHU, through its business and CSR activities in Qatar, will contribute to further strengthen the relationship between both countries.
