Information on ITOCHU AOYAMA ART SQUARE Happy Island ~ Blossoming in the Future ~ Art Exhibition by Flower Arranger Hiroki Maeno and "Ko(think)fuku(happiness)Talk Show"
July 1, 2013
ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) opened ITOCHU AOYAMA ART SQUARE in the CI Plaza, a commercial facility situated next to ITOCHU’s Tokyo Head Office, in October 2012. The gallery was opened as a part of ITOCHU’s social contribution activities with the aim of developing the next generation through art, contributing to the local community and promoting both local and overseas art and culture, and various exhibitions have since been held in the space.
As a new project, ITOCHU will run a new event related to Fukushima reconstruction titled “Happy Island ~ Blossoming in the Future ~ Art Exhibition by Flower Arranger Hiroki Maeno and Kofuku Talk Show,” which will run for three days from Tuesday, July 16, 2013. The event will be a new style of art exhibition involving expressing Hiroki Maeno’s idea of “Now” through his works and holding nightly “Kofuku Talk Show” sessions within the exhibition space. Let’s consider what “happiness” is together.
