The components of the world-famous Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for fiscal 2014 were announced and ITOCHU was included in both the DJSI World and Asia Pacific index. DJSI is a family of global socially responsible investment (SRI) indices.

The DJSI revises the indices every September by an independent survey of economic, environmental and social practices. In fiscal 2014, 319 companies (including 21 Japanese companies) were included in DJSI World among 3,395 targeted companies around the world.

Looking ahead, ITOCHU will continue to push ahead with initiatives designed to achieve a sustainable society.
