ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that its United States subsidiary ITOCHU International Inc. (U.S.A.) will contribute 20,000 U.S. dollars toward relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey, which caused severe damage in the Gulf Coast area.
In addition, ITOCHU International Inc. (U.S.A.) started employee fundraising to support the hurricane disaster relief effort.
ITOCHU expresses its deepest sympathy to the victims in the disaster-stricken areas and earnestly hopes for their earliest possible recovery.
