ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Masahiro Okafuji, President & CEO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that together with ITOCHU International Inc. (U.S.A.) and ITOCHU Mexico S.A. de C.V., it will contribute 250,000 Mexican Pesos as a monetary donation and emergency supplies assistance in response to the damage caused by the major magnitude 8.2 earthquake, commonly called the Chiapas earthquake, which struck the state of Chiapas, Mexico on the night of September 7, 2017 (local time).

We will give our full support to the affected areas in the form of medical, food and other vital supplies as and when required.

ITOCHU expresses its deepest sympathy to those in the disaster-stricken areas and earnestly hopes for their earliest possible recovery.
