We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy for all victims of the recent earthquake on Sulawesi island in central Indonesia.

ITOCHU Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Yoshihisa Suzuki, President & COO; hereinafter “ITOCHU”) announced today that it has decided to donate 500 million Indonesian rupiah together with PT. ITOCHU Indonesia to the Indonesian Red Cross to assist the victims of the earthquake that struck on September 28, 2018, with its epicenter on Sulawesi island in central Indonesia.

ITOCHU will also donate funds raised by volunteer expatriate employees and national staff at affiliate companies of the ITOCHU Group in Indonesia and PT. ITOCHU Indonesia to contribute to the restoration and assist the victims.
