ITOCHU was selected as the Gold Class award for the fifth consecutive year in the SAM Sustainability Awards 2020.
This year, more than 4,700 of the world's largest companies were assessed, and only two companies in Japan, including ITOCHU, received Gold Class awards.
SAM evaluates corporate sustainability based on ESG criteria and assigns Gold, Silver and Bronze ratings to companies that have a particularly strong track record.
