ITOCHU Receives Highest Rating in S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2026

As part of US-based global analytics and ratings firm S&P Global’s sustainability assessment, ITOCHU received the highest industry award (Top 1%)*1 and was selected for the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2026.*2

In the latest assessment, 9,243 of the world's largest companies were assessed and 848 were included in the Yearbook; among Japanese companies, only six achieved the highest Top 1% award. This award recognizes companies that have been rated highly after being evaluated and analyzed from a sustainability perspective in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by S&P Global.

We believe this award represents an affirmation of our company's sustainability policies and initiatives as well as appropriate information disclosures in our ESG Report.


*1Outstanding companies in advanced sustainability measures are selected for Top 1%, Top 5%, and Top 10% ratings in each industry category, with the highest rating being Top 1%.
