Development of new targeted advertising distribution business

Four companies ITOCHU, FamilyMart Co., Ltd., NTT Docomo Inc., and CyberAgent Inc. have established a new company Data One Corp. to develop the digital advertising distribution business utilizing the purchase data of retail operators.
Data One is a new style of advertising solutions company which uses purchase data owned by FamilyMart and d POINT CLUB member data and attribute information owned by NTT Docomo to provide end-to-end support for advertising activities, enabling advertising distribution by ID unit to meet consumer needs as well as verification of effects after advertising distribution.

Moving forward, Data One will not only use purchase data from FamilyMart and members data from NTT Docomo but will also gradually build alliances with retailers such as grocery stores and drug stores to improve the scope and quality of purchase data, with a view to realizing advertising distribution that better meets consumer needs and providing businesses with efficient marketing and branding support.
