In addition to private funds, we currently operate two J-REITs: Advance Residence Investment Corporation, the largest residential-focused J-REIT in terms of asset size, and Advance Logistics Investment Corporation, a logistics-focused J-REIT.

With more than 40 years’ experience managing properties as the ITOCHU Group’s point of contact in the real estate business, ITOCHU Urban Community Ltd. provides a comprehensive range of services including facility management and property management services for around 300 buildings, around 110,000 condominium units and around 30,000 rental apartments and student housing units, in addition to providing life support services for residents. ITOCHU Urban Community is committed to delivering “safety” and “peace of mind” to customers and to improving asset value.

The ITOCHU Group has been actively involved in the real estate securitization business through private funds and other means since the dawn of real estate securitization in Japan. We currently operate two J-REITs: Advance Residence Investment Corporation, the largest residential-focused J-REIT in terms of asset size, and Advance Logistics Investment Corporation, a logistics-focused J-REIT. We are increasing our involvement in the investment real estate business as an important part of the real estate value chain. We are also expanding the real estate business through the use of private funds both in Japan and overseas and are focusing on this as a future priority.
