In Japan and overseas, ITOCHU is expanding its financial services. Domestically, our credit card and credit sales businesses leverage a strong customer base and platform capabilities involve Orient Corporation, FamilyMart Co., Ltd. , etc. Overseas, we operate unsecured loan, car loan and other financial services.

Pocketcard Co., Ltd.

ITOCHU invested in PocketCard Co., Ltd. in April 2003, becoming the first general trading company to form a capital and business alliance with a leading credit card company. PocketCard Co., Ltd. is expanding its business operations, merging with Famima Credit Corporation, which issues the Famima T Card, and taking over the Famima T Card business in September 2012.
The Famima T Card is a card positioned as a tool which FamilyMart uses to provide “just that bit more hospitality” at more than 16,000 stores across Japan, making customers “special guests,” offering a unique credit card integrated with convenience stores. ITOCHU intends to fully utilize PocketCard's expertise in areas such as organizing members and analyzing customers to expand the retail finance business through the issuance of appealing co-branded credit cards with retailers both inside and outside the ITOCHU Group.

Orient Corporation

ITOCHU formed a capital and business alliance with Orient Corporation (ORICO) in the spring of 2005. By combining our diverse products and planning and development capabilities in a wide range of business domains with Orient Corporation's financial solution capabilities, we are pursuing synergy through the provision of new added value to more than 850,000 ORICO member stores throughout Japan and around 10.98 million credit card users.
Leveraging the ITOCHU Group network, we are working to develop co-branded credit cards in the credit card field and to promote various loans provided by ORICO in the credit sales field.

United Asia Finance Limited

ITOCHU formed a capital partnership with United Asia Finance Limited at the end of 1996. As the biggest money lender in Hong Kong, United Asia Finance Limited is engaged in the business of unsecured loans to individuals and it also entered the Chinese market in 2007. United Asia Finance Limited currently has 48branches in Hong Kong and 16 in China. In 2023, we plan to expand our customer base and start a new credit card business in Hong Kong and we will aim for further business expansion.

EASY BUY Public Co., Ltd.

In 1996, ITOCHU established EASY BUY Public Co., Ltd., in a joint venture with ACOM CO., LTD. EASY BUY has around 107 branches across Thailand and operates the unsecured personal loan business and credit sales business. EASY BUY is now a leading provider of financial services for individuals in Thailand and aims to grow its business base together with expansion of the Thai economy.

First Response Finance Ltd.

ITOCHU established First Response Finance Ltd. as a joint venture with a partner company in 1999.(Now ITOCHU's wholly owned subsidiary)
First Response Finance Ltd. is a UK car loan company providing finance for used vehicles through dealers out of its three UK offices. First Response Finance intends to leverage the loan application screening and call center capabilities built up since its foundation to achieve further business expansion.
